Features 72C-74C available from H&M Equipment, New York

FAST, ADJUSTABLE, EFFECTIVE HARVESTING

Both the 72C direct-cut and 74C flex-cut series auger headers cut crop cleanly and quickly, then deliver it smoothly and evenly to the feederhouse to increase the capacity of the entire combine. Convenient adjustments allow you to easily adapt to conditions for top efficiency and production.

72C DIRECT CUT AUGER HEADER

The 72C direct cut auger header is available in 20-, 25- and 30-ft. widths. The smallest model is equipped with a single-knife drive; the two larger models feature twin-knife drives.

74C FLEX CUT AUGER HEADER

With four cutting width choices (20-, 25-, 30- and 35-ft.) you’re sure to find the right 74C flexible direct cut auger header to match your harvest needs. Each of the larger two models is equipped with a twin-knife drive, and you have a choice of 1½-in. knives and guards (twin cut) or 3-in. knives and guards.

AMPLE FLOAT AND FLEXIBILITY

The 74C header provides up to 4½ inches of float and closely follows the ground contour to pick up low-growing crops. The 74C floor flexibility has been enhanced with a new cutterbar design that floats independently of the header floor for better feeding and flexibility. Plus, the New Holland Terrain Tracer™ header flotation system is standard equipment with the 74C header.

SMOOTH, EVEN CROP FEEDING

Both the 72C and 74C headers include a large 26-in. diameter, full-finger auger for smooth, even crop feeding. The 35-ft. auger on the 74C features a straight finger pattern in the center section. A choice of reels and crop dividers lets you adapt these headers to a wide variety of crop conditions. Hydraulic fore and aft reel adjustment provides precise feeding in all conditions. A narrower-profile, left-handed, single-drive system is provided on the 20- and 25-ft. models.

MORE ENHANCED FEATURES

A new self-adjusting knife drive belt provides enhanced belt wrap on the 72C and 74C headers. Additional feeder opening supports add strength and durability, while an enhanced crop divider enables better performance in adverse crop conditions. For additional accuracy, the auto header height control arm has adjustable ends to simplify fine adjustments of the sensor range.

OPTIONAL TERRAIN TRACER™ SYSTEM

The Terrain Tracer™ header flotation system takes the bounce out of rough spots and helps pick up all of the grain. The system automatically tilts the header laterally to follow the ground contour and raises the head vertically. If the combine dips into a gully one wheel at a time or crosses a deep tire track, the header remains on the ground to get all the grain.
